Tonight the robotics club team had its third match of the season and did exceptionally well. The team placed near the top and had the top score for a good part of tonight’s match! The ideas from the previous practice really seemed to help keep the front weighted down so the robot did not do wheelies.
It is really great to see the team coming together and their ideas working well. While many of the teams have complicated robots the simple design of our robot seems to perform as well or better then many of the complex robots.
The more we participate in the Vex IQ Highrise event, the more I like the fast paced nature. It seems to give the kids a good challenge and keeps the night lively. It is really hard for me to refrain from designing and driving my own robot!
